The CTTC's Schedule of Events/Play is now listed under the Calendar drop down.  It lists the dates of play, and who each team is playing, throughout the entire season 2013-2014.  So, if you are curious about who your team is playing from week to week, go check out the calendar.

The 2014 Harry Sands Memorial Teams Tournament was held January 25, 2014 at the North Charleston Recreation Center.  Nine teams from around the State and across the border in Kentucky gathered to crown a new Team Champion.

Ryan, CTTC League Historian, sent this link regarding a USATT Hall of Fame Inductee who is from right here in West Virginia - Dick Evans.  Dick was not only a great player but also a leader who has had many roles in the venues of US and International play.  This article and others are also listed under this web site's History drop down.

The North Charleston Recreation Center will be available for open play, not league play, on December 23rd.  The officers will also conduct a meeting that evening, before play, to discuss various issues such as second round options.  There will be more news to come regarding the agenda for this meeting.

This coming Monday, November 11, is a holiday.  There will be NO league play.  We will be returning to normal league play on November 18th.

MESSAGE TO THE CTTC - Ryan Robinson

 

The CTTC managed to survive the first night of the new (old) Teams/Round Robin format.  We had 31 players playing in both the Teams and Round Robin formats, that is more than we had at any time last season.  I want to thank everyone for being patient while we got the matches organized.  Big thanks to Chris Held and Bob Huston for taking charge of the Round Robin and recording the games properly.  The night did not conclude without some issues that need to be addressed.  Read More.....

At the club's next practice session, 9-16-2013, team captains will participate in a draft in order to comprise the three man rosters for each team.

We had a very good turn out for our first day of practice of the League Season 2013-2014.  There will be one more week of practice before round robin and teams play begin.
